Hardware Messages

This page displays messages about hardware activity for selected objects on this Hardware Management Console.

Hardware Management Console messages describe Hardware Management Console and token-ring network activity.

Tasks

View, act on, and delete messages.

All hardware messages awaiting operator action can be displayed for this object.

To view, act on, and delete messages:

1. Select a message, then select the Details push button to display details.
2. If messages details are available and intervention is required, perform the operator action recommended in the details.
3. Select the Delete push button to delete the selected message.

List columns

Messages are listed from the oldest to the newest message, with the oldest message displayed at the top of the list.

Date

Displays the date the message was sent.

Time

Displays the time the message was sent.

Message Text

Displays the message.

Push buttons

Details

To display message details for each selected message, select this push button.

Delete

To delete one or more selected messages from the list, select this push button.

Select All Messages

To select all messages listed, select this push button.

Deselect All Messages

To deselect all messages listed, select this push button.

Cancel

To close this window and canel the task, select this push button.

Help

To display help for a page or control, select this push button.
